Divided into two parts, this program explores issues relating to intellectual freedom in the library. The first part of the tape presents an overview of intellectual freedom, looking at the Library Bill of Rights and talking with three library administrators who have experienced challenges to their collections. The second part of the tape presents five vignettes to which staff members can react. They are useful for all levels of staff to practice communication techniques before an encounter.
